Klaus Ohnsmann is an award winning German painter of international standing who has made Sintra his home and subject matter. With Sintra as his present theme he has held many exhibitions in Spain, Germany, and Portugal. Ohnsmann has opened up his studio to the public along with exhibition space celebrating 20 years of his work. It was the artists dream to show visitors Sintra through his artistic eyes. The works displayed are constantly being re-newed and kept fresh. Along with the museum there's a garden where you can lose yourself amongst your thoughts. There's other recreational space and a cafeteria at hand too. Ohnsmann is quite happy to allow people watch him paint, his belief is to breakdown any barrier between artist and viewer. A visit to the Klaus Ohnsmann is a rare yet delightful insight into a creative mind at work.
